Does anyone have a source for bulk sales for Hornady V-max bullets. I have found a few sites that offer packs of 250 - 40 and/or 50 grain V-max for just under $35.00. But, I wonder if anyone knows of sites offering larger bulk quantities?........

I have to stand corrected when I posted that Powder Valley has good prices on bulk Hornady V-max in lots of 500. These bullets are really Z-max, not the V-max. Powder Valley told me they Z-max is the same as V-max but the only different was the colored tip was different etween these two bullets. Hmmmm, I would have to do some more resurch on that one but just wanted to pass along the information that I got from them..............

50 gr zmax and 50 gr Vmax appear to be the same with different tip colors. I haven't pulled one apart to compare any deeper than a bunch of surface measurements, but they shoot the same.

I have been shooting the ZMax out to 300yds with good results. Cannot see any difference in accuracy or performance vs. the VMax.
Based on performance on full cans of soda, the ZMax frags just like the VMax. Have shot cans where another can was behind it and the second can looked like it had been hit with a shotgun. Tiny little holes everywhere.

Hornady rep told me the only difference was the cannular and the color of the tip.
