Bull upper 18"

Like some input on White Oak uppers and compass Lake engineering uppers 18 inch bull barrels . I always told myself I will never own a rifle unless it can shoot half inch at 100 yards. rifle will be mostly used for shooting groundhogs
Which do you think would be the better buy ?
Looking At 1/8 twist
Bullet's i will use 55 v max/ 69/ 77smk
Most shots will be 100 to 400 & some at 600

You can't really go wrong with either, both WOA and CLE produce top tier accuracy and most of the top AR platform shooters use either or both of their barrels. If you're still on the fence after hearing what the other guys on this forum have to say you can always talk to these companies, they'll also give you good advice.

As for that CLE chamber...It has a shorter leade and is a bit smaller. With this chamber, mag length ammo doesn't have to "jump" so far before hitting the rifling. If you get your "google-fu" going or use the search feature here on the Hide you can look up what other guys are saying about this chamber...produces awesome accuracy from what I've seen and read. Another alternative is the Wylde chamber. Just depends on what your goals are for your future rifle.

I got a WOA 18" varmint upper with 1 in 7" twist that WOA fluted for me. I put it on top of a Colt LE 6920 M4 lower that I installed a Geissele SSA-E trigger. With 69 gr. Sierra Match Kings it shoots much smaller groups that the target below shot at 100 yds with 65 gr. Game Kings I use for deer hunting. I reloaded these bullets. I also put a Bushnell AR/223 scope with 4.5-18x40mm zoom.
