You will have to remove the top and insert the .338 LM into the collet,drop into hammer then screw on the top. The screw on top will not allow the collet to open enough to just drop in the round.
Works fine for me, wish they would make one large enough for the .408 CT. </div></div>

I just did this to mine, I used a slightly larger than 1/2" reamer first, then finished it up with the drill bit, I went down just a tad further than 1.5" and can now do the .338 Norma as well since its a straight wall.
As always its right there in front of you but sometimes you just don't think about it...now if I could only find that large collet!!!
