I just bought a Remington Sendero in 300 Remington Ultra Mag, and starting to look at bullets for loading the new beasty. So far in my preliminary searches, I've found 2 bullets that stand out fairly well. The first is the 210 Gr VLD from Berger. It has a G7 of .630 and a sectional density of .316. I've heard of these bullets, and always positive things, generally the cats meow.

The other bullet, that I've looked at so far is this new offering from Nosler, called their Custom Competition Bullet. It's a hollow point, boat tail at 220 grains with an advertised BC at .690. Looking at the website, Nosler apparently has had this line, but the 220 gr bullet is a new offering.

I can find the 210 VLD projectiles and factory loaded cartridges in stock, while the Noslers are projectile only and Midway advertises them as in stock 07-22-13. Can anyone make a recommendation which route would potentially offer more accuracy out to 1k,1500, a mile shooting as this is what I'm building the gun for. Or maybe a different bullet all together? I'm not wanting to burn a barrel in 500 rounds, but would like to be able to push to a mile with this gun, so high BC, speed, and stability are paramount

Thanks guys

You may want to look at the 230gr Bergers and 240 gr Sierra Match King because they have BCs in the 0.7+ range, especially if you plan to shoot a mile. In the end, I would go with whatever shoots best out of the gun.
