Hello everyone,

My rifle has a really deep throat (remington 700 pcr 24" 1:10 5R) that measured in at 2.9385 with the 155 scenar.

Ideally I would Like to be able to mag feed my rounds but if I cant get the accuracy I want out of that long jump then I will single load.

Have a little more info on my first go around with load development a few post down if you want more info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

In my experience, a long jump doesn't necessarily equal lack of accuracy. I have a Rem 308 that Jumps 0.128 shooting 168 BTHP over Varget and shoots bug holes. It's all about finding the right node the barrel likes. Do the OCW with 3 shot groups. Find the POI node and then tune with seating depth after that. Also, don't be afraid to change powders, some like xy better than yz.. The 308 is not hard to load for. From my records, they rather move at a reasonable MV rather than light speed. In essence, look for the middle node and don't try to chase the heaviest powder charge.
