Dude, that cat has some serious rage issues to deal with. I know being a feral cat is no dream job but Jesus Christ!
had a cat that used to do the same thing with every critter it caught rabbit , squirrel , mouse what ever it was there would be a pile of parts careful stacked on the deck for my then girl friend to freak out over every morning like the head taken from the body and the legs all just sitting there I just thought her crying at that point was totally worth the laughs I would get from it all but yea the sceen was rather gruesome thinking about it like the Jeffery Domer of cats lol thank got it was only a tiny tabby but its a cat it sort of is a serial killer in a fluff ball form . But it did its job well and did not cry about much unlike the people in the house that cried about everything and worked like they were allergic to the whole concept .
we all know this is a BS post since maser has zero chances of landing a woman let along marrying one

This little angel did that to a cat once. Came home and he was covered in shit and blood. His ears had cat bites on them, his head was bleeding from a couple deep scratches. It must have been quite the scene. I hope it was no ones cat, and if it wasn't, I hope they weren't watching.
My 17 year old, 9.5 pound terrier mix that has lost all but about six of his teeth has caught two young wild rabbits in his little fenced in enclosure, and killed them both. I guess I should be happy for him that he finally got a couple of kills at his age...he is deaf, and mostly blind in one eye, but he still enjoys life, and I figure if he can get them at his age, it is probably what he dreams about when he is sleeping. "Yes, I finally got a couple of those buggers!"
That was so bad it needs to be an episode on Forensic Files and how they identified the killer with some ground breaking techno shit.
It reminds me of a buddy of mine in high school... Lol.
This is back in the mid 80's...
A buddy of mine lived in a neighborhood that but it up to about six or seven hundred acres where are plenty of bird, squirrels, rabbits Etc live... so, one day we're out shooting having a good time and he sets his sights on this rabbit... Kills it
He then proceeded to run down the street holding said dead rabbit, blood dripping from the wound... I got it I killed the Easter Bunny...
This of course is about the time kids are playing in the yard, being dropped off by the school bus etc. This of course caused a few tears. Needless to say, the parents didn't find the humor in it that we did... LOL.
Same guy went deer hunting and hung the game in his front yard while he skinned it and quartered it... All while saying... I killed Rudolph...lol

It's funny you posted this. Just 3 days ago my herd of outdoor cats were playing with a half of a young rabbit carcass they had just killed. They were having a ball flinging it around. I don't see any remnants so they must have eventually devoured it.
They got a squirrel about a month ago but didn't eat it. Don't know why. They stashed it under my front steps and it stunk to high heaven until I fished it out and threw it into garbage can.

My dogs are not specifically hugely interested in rabbits, but squirrels, rats are something they will snatch at and shake till it stops squeaking all in an instant.
They also fiercely dislike cats as their sworn enemy competitors in hunting but they have never gotten one, as the cats in the neighbourhood are pretty good at realizing when they need to get up a tree or over a fence. The ones that don't are often found by us in the early morning torn into sheds by various wild predators who prowl the suburbs at night to look for any stupid small delicious pets.
We are also starting to have some birds that might be big enough to start looking at tiny pets as dinner.
It's pretty interesting how well a significant amount of wildlife including plenty of predators, are able to somewhat seamlessly integrate into suburban neighborhoods and figure out how to coexist with humans and pets.
