Rifle Scopes burris black diamond??

I aquired a burris black diamond 3-12x50 30 mm tube, adj objective, target turrets in a trade that was on a gun. Pulled the scope off and set it aside for a while and forgot about it. There is oil I think leaking out of the adj obj. Is this a decent scope I should even worry about. Do we think burris (new burris ie beretta) will service it for cheap or free if I ship it to them. Glass looks kinda yellow. Will this be a decent scope for me to run until I can save cash for something better or am I beating a dead horse?

Just ship me that POS and dont worry yourself about it any more. They are actually pretty decent scopes, they also have a lifetime warranty. I would send it in and see what happens. I would be happy to have it on my hunting rig.
