Rifle Scopes Burris Fullfield II 3.5-10x50 LRS

I recently purchased a Remington 700 SPS Varmint in .308. I am now looking for a good scope to go with it. I have found a good deal on a Burris Fullfield II 3.5-10x50 LRS. I have never owned a burris product. My only scope that I own now is a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 that I have on my shotgun. What do you think of this scope? Also any other options would be great too! I dont want to spend more than $300. I know thats not alot for a good scope but thats what I can afford.

I have had 3 Burris ill reticle scopes fail
I have zero interest in trying any more
