What does everyone think of the burris fullfield tac 30 1x4x24? What about the reticle? Thinking of putting one of these on a 18 inch ar. Will mostly be used for hunting. Quick target acquisition at close range and medium range shots as well. It falls in my price range, $300.00 to 350.00 Also what snipers hide sponsors sells burris scopes? Thanks for any info.

I think overall it is nice for the money.

I always look at Liberty Optics first, but it doesn't look like they carry Burris.
I just checked CS Tactical, and they don't have Burris listed either.
SWFA has it for $300

I like mine. The reticle works very well, and the illumination is very bright, easily visible in the middle of the day. Just remember that the whole ocular spins for mag adjustment, so a flip up cap probably isn't a good choice.

I've been running one for close to a year in 3 gun, it's a lot of scope for the money. It's very, very fast up close and the BDC matches my 69 SMK loads, I made a first round hit on a railroad tie plate at 620 with it the other day. One problem I found while taking a carbine class a week or so ago is that the illuminated reticle was TOO bright shooting at night, but that's only a problem in very low light.
