Night Vision Burris IR Laser Aiming Device

I haven't used that, but for $1100 you can get a similar laser mounted to the side of an EOTech called the EOLAD from TNVC. .7mW and a good sight to boot. If you can find one and you want more power, there's the Meprolight MOR and it has 5mW red and IR lasers slaved to a 33mm tri-power reflex sight (batteries, tritium and fiber optic) for $1500 (they make a red only but not an IR only and if it has IR it's 5mW because they don't make a .7mW either). It's not a bad sight at all, but it's rare to find one. Altatac had 'em new for $1500 with 4.3MOA dot.

Hey MarkCO, does the AR-DBAL have a hi/lo switch for the IR laser? If you have any experience with the LDI DBAL, is it the same?

Amazon has them for $591 delivered. http://www.amazon.com/Ar-Ffl-Fastfi...8IKW/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=A1ZY19RNUYDONK

Hell, the LDI ITAL/ OTAL Classic CLass 1 IR lasers with no hi/lo power switch run about $550. For an extra $70, you get an upgraded IR laser that will use the LDI Neutral Density filters even if the hi/lo switch doesn't work and a free $225 Fast Fire 3.

The AR-DBAL has hi and low for both the IR laser and the Green laser. On the left side of the unit, there is a 5 position rotary switch. Left center is off. Turn CW for both settings of the IR and CCW for both settings of the Green laser. The FF on top is completely independent. I have only used an LDI once, and the case looked the same, but the controls on the back were different.
