How are the Burris tactical scopes? Looks like they range between $500-800 which is about my price range. Lot's of others I'm already looking at, just curious about these.

I have had good luck with them. I have a xtr 1-4 and had a xtr 3-12 and they were built very good. The glass is very good on them, I personally like alot of the different reticles they offer, and their customer service fixed a loose turret in 3 weeks. All in all, the xtr line is not a bad line of scopes. I have no experience with their other lines. Also, they offer illuminated reticles for all the xtr scopes, which is a plus for me when hunting.

The XTR line is a solid scope. But IMO for the price range you are talking about there are better options. The Bushnell FFP Mildot 3-12x44 has better features as well as the Super Sniper 10x HD. Both of them are mil/mil while the XTR is moa/mil.
