I had placed my Burris XTR 6-24x50 up for sale last week. Didn't get a hit or even a nibble, probably because it's a 1" elevation and 1/2" windage adjustable. Perfect glass, very light ring marks and even at $525.00 shipped, nada...nothing.

I called Burris Customer Service for shits/giggles and spoke to a service tech named Martin. He was cool and took the time to answer my questions. $40.00 and cost of shipping one way is all it's going to cost to have them switched to 1/4" elevation and 1/4" windage. Needless to say, I pulled that one immediately.

Re: Burris Service Department

Good to know they will put 1/4 elevation and 1/4 windage on if you want. I have a Burris 4.5-14x42 TAC30 that has 1/4's and went with it because the XTR 6-24x50 didn't show 1/4's in their literature. Never crossed my mind to ask and I've spoken to Martin a few times. Assume you have the Burris XTR rings?

Re: Burris Service Department

Yes, I'm going to keep it now. It's like new save for a couple light ring marks. I thought the resale or trade value was a bit better but I guess not. I have Burris XTR rings but this one will sit in a GG&G mount.

Re: Burris Service Department

I have three myself, 2 XTR's and one of the new model Sixx scopes in 2-12x40. I picked up the Sixx off of a guy who had won it and had no use for it (Brand new in the box, a steal to say the least). I was hoping I could get target turrets for it but they're not available for that model yet.

I just can't quite pull the trigger on a NF or US Optics yet, so these will have to do along with my Bushnell 6500. Not that I don't want a scope from either though....
