Depends. I picked up the scr because the scr2 is extremely thin in my opinion. Mines going on a hunting rifle so the tree isn't necessary for my use really...
If you're taking 10 shots in 90 seconds on variable distance targets in a match setting, the tree can save you time if you're accustomed to using it though.
