Like title says I have a bushnell 3.5-21 hdmr and the scope seems built like a tank but when I went to zero rifle I notice when I put the elevation knob back on and would pull the turret to the top to be able to adjust the elevation the knob would have like a vacuum and slightly pull itself back down not lining up with the dashes. I even tried taking it back off and then back on and pulling the turret up and down trying to get maybe some of the vacuum to brake but to no avail . It is kind of annoying cause its not precise as to where I'm zeroed on which dash have any of you guys had this is issue and are the any fix of should I contact bush cs.

Lube the orings. The lockable turret has to be sealed and that In turn creates a vacuum. I haven't found it to be an issue. As for the alignment of the marks mine is maybe a half a line off when when locked but with 5 mil rev the spacing is nice and wide so no issues there either for me.

I guess it's just me being ocd it's a damn good scope I'll try lubing the o rings I switched my elevation turret with windage and that pretty much fixed the issue I don't know if that turret had more lube or a tolerance difference .

I do not have that problem with mine. I'd give Bushnell a call even though it is a minor problem. You can pick the brain of their tech to see if they have encountered the problem before.

Yeah....really. That's no issue for me redneck. I won't loose any sleep at all not selling you shit.

As as for a legitimate issue, I can't say since I think my scope is the same way and I don't feel it's an issue but i use my stuff and it functions great for me.

There's nothing to keep the turret up other then the friction of the orings. The sliding clutch does just that....it slides. There's no springs or anything to it. As for marks not lining up its less then the width of the indication line when locked. There's a giant space between marks on the 5mil scopes. It's not an issue in my eyes but that's me

i have the same problem when dialing its very easy to apply pressure downward and slide the turret down enough to lose track of where you are.. This is the only complaint I have on this scope and frankly it annoys the piss out of me. From my research its a common problem I dont think there is much that can be done about it.
