Bushing to measure Ogive - 6.5 Creedmoor and .223

I am new to reloading and need to add some measurement tools to my bench. I am going to purchase a Whidden Gunworks Multi-Purpose Overall Length Gauge. I am looking for the size of the bushing that will measure the ogive for:

• 6.5 CM
• .223

I am also looking for the bushings that will measure the datum on both cases.

If you want the ojive, just order the diameter which is the land/bore diameter of the caliber you are measuring.

.223 would be .218 or .219
6.5/.264 would be .257

As far as measuring headspace length based on a datum diameter, I wouldn’t recommend doing that (that looks like what you’re trying to find a datum diameter for?).

It’s more practical to measure cartridge headspace with a matching angled bushing and a HS gauge to set a zero reference. Your bearing surface is MUCH larger that way and you will get more repeatable measurements.
