We all know Bushmaster is currently smoking crack but can someone explain this one to me? Why would I want to shoot 338 LM in a semi automatic? If I can afford this rifle, I would want to throw $5 bills down range as fast as possible? I don't get it.

Re: Bushmaster MCR400

It's a reintroduction of an old Cobb rifle.

Cobb was absorbed by Bushmaster a few years ago after they were bought by Cerebrus.

Re: Bushmaster MCR400

It's a trade show, concepts come out to gauge interest, I handled this rifle, it's big, heavy and useless, 338lm is not known for barrel life, I started grilling one of the reps about it, asking questions, why not a piston, how come it doesn't have a quick change barrel, based on the ACR witch has pissed alot of people off what is the price of the weapon, he looked dumbfounded until price, then it came out it's a one off concept at this point.
