Re: Bushmaster's MCR 400
Sadly, it looks like Bushmaster isn't going to really do much with the MCR platform. Really bums me out because I bought two MCR receivers, and I'm kicking myself for not having thrown down the $4k several years ago to buy the MCR-400 completion kit from Cobb when I had a chance.
I think they probably bought it for the patents - by now, even if they were to go forward with a multi-cal big-frame AR they will probably have made some design changes along the way which will render existing Cobb receivers useless.
NOTE: This is all conjecture. Don't read more into it than some guy who's been watching for the MCR platform to resurface for the last few years now.
