Rifle Scopes Bushnell 3.5-21x50 DMR

I did a search and was unable to find an answer.
I'm considering purchasing one of these scopes.
The rifle I plan on using it for is a short action R700, 20MOA base in an XLR chassis.
I'm a bit concerned about the rather short section between the saddle and objective lens and the fact that the scope must clear the "clamp" that holds the fore-end tube.
Can anyone chime in on running one of these scopes in the XLR chassis? What ring height did you use?

I ran one for awhile on my xlr. Awesome scope by the way. I cant remember the height off hand but I had a pair of high burris xtr rings and it cleared great. If I get time I can search the rings online for a measurement or you can
