Good Morning.
I have this scope and it was on my Mk12 for a long while until I got my first .308 rifle a FN FNAR. It has capped turrets and it is real clear glass. I use Bushnell telescopes doing my astronomy thing and I bought the scope because of well my other hobby and I had a gift card (I know right) so the question comes down should I get rid of the scope or keep it and learn the trade better. Most ranges I have access too are 300 yards with a range that can is 1000 yards. Most shots by me will come to about 500 yards for now.
Pros to me:
Clear Glass
Easy DOA reticle
capped turrets for field use.
Cold Hammer Forged Tube
Seems to be real tuff
Cons
SFP
DOA Reticle
Does not have Mil Dot
I think it is in MOA and not Mil. Still learning that.
Capped Turrets verse target turrets
Not a Nightforce, USO, or S&B
