Bushnell Elite 20-60x80?

Local store has this new for $680 is this a good spotter for the money?

Short answer is yes. Glass was very good, value for dollar is very high-- only change I would make to mine is buying the model with straight eyepiece (ended up sitting or standing with tripod more than prone).

There are also no reticles or options for eyepiece---if this is important then spend more money to buy vortex.

Graham I should have mentioned my requirements, however I was wanting to know what opinions everyone had in general regarding this spotter. I rarely shoot past 600 yards. I am looking for a basic spotter to use for precision rifle shooting with my GAP in .308. I am really just wanting to know info on how the glass compares to more expensive options or cheaper options such as the Legend Ultra HD (which has really good reviews). I haven't priced the Legend Ultra HD however I am assuming with my discounted rate for being a club member it will be much less.

I am not currently in need of any reticle options and don't foresee myself being in need of it down the road. I am curious if the eye piece is removable replaceable on the Elite series. I know it isn't on the Legend Ultra. Thanks for the input guys. I originally wanted to get the Vortex Razor HD but at twice the cost of the Elite it's hard to swallow. I know you get what you pay for on glass but I am in need of a spotter now and would have to save for the Vortex, which might be the route I go.
