I sent my 6-24x50 Elite Tactical in for repair. Long story short, they exchanged it for a Elite 4200 with the same features. Did I get kissed or screwed?

You definitely got a lesser scope back. The 4200's are not even made anymore, and the newer 4500's and a still a step down from the Elite Tactical. I'd send it back and ask them to try again. Maybe they thought they could slip you a factory refurbished scope.

They don't send you a new scope when they replace them. They don't make the 6-24 Tactical [6500] scopes anymore.

The 4200 they sent me looks new but the box looks like crap, like it was a demo for trade shows or something. I've been reading and it seems they are the same scope. My Elite Tactical was almost new and jumped 6" right in the second match I shot with it. At the first match two weeks before, I discovered a 6" poi difference from 6x to 24x at 600 yards, on an electronic target so it was not me. Sent it in and they say there is nothing wrong with it. I said I couldn't trust it so they sent me the 4200. I'm trying to find if there are more differences than just the age.
