Rifle Scopes Bushnell elite warranty ?

If I read it right it says that if your not satisfied you can return it within 365 days for a full refund. Is this correct ?

Thinking about picking up a 4200 elite 3-12x44 FFP on clearance.
Since I've never laid eyes on one of these the 1 year trial period could seal the deal.

Yes, but you need to keep your receipt to get that full refund. And you can only use it once.

Yes.

But you won't need to use the warranty. It's a very good scope. Perhaps the best to be had under $1000.

Is this where the warranty pretty well ends. The only negatives on Bushnell I've heard has been their CS and warranty work.

I have sent a range finder and a scope to them, both purchased second hand, and all I had to do was ship it to them and pay $15. for shipping back.
As far as the scopes they have on clearance, I picked up a 6 x 24 FFP Mil dot and I really like the features for the price.
The optics are not as clear and bright as my Leupold 8.5 x 25 x 50 that I just sold but it has the features that I wanted, all and all I don't think you could go wrong for the price.

I sent them a scope that the seals blew out on and they called me and wanted a credit card number for the repair. I won't make that mistake again.

I had a problem with an Elite 3200 10x40, the UK distributer fobbed me off and wouldn't replace it even though it was within a month of me buying it and covered under Busnell's no quibble 1 year guarantee.
I got in touch with Bushnell direct explaining the problem, they sent me out a new scope from the States free of charge and told me to chuck the old one in the bin. Pretty impressive customer service in my opinion. I am however loath to buy another Bushnell here in the UK again as the distributors are a complete set of wankers..
