Rifle Scopes Bushnell G3 reticle vs Primary Arms Athena

So, I am considering getting either a Bushnell DMR 2 Pro with the G3 reticle or a Primary Arms Platinum with the Athena reticle. I can get the Bushnell for just under 1400 or the PA for 1,500. Curious if anyone has any experience with both of these reticles and their thoughts on them for shooting from 100 - 1,300 yards. I personally am leaning towards the PA platinum because I think the reticle is superb but curious what some of you might have to say.

I should add the intention of this optic/reticle is for range and precision shooting only, not hunting.

Just a question...Do you feel the DMR 2 Pro is worth $500.00 more than the DMR 2?

I like my g3 in my xrs2. Its not busy, but has enough info to be plenty useful.

Very good question!
I saw two side by side and not worth $500 difference IMO.
It seems like Bushnell has a thicker reticle compare to my Vortex scopes.

Just a question...Do you feel the DMR 2 Pro is worth $500.00 more than the DMR 2?

You can find dmr2 pro fairly cheap on the px here, I snapped one up for 1050. Of course I've bought some new, sealed in box dmr2 for 875 on here also. I can tell the difference in glass, not sure its worth 500 difference if you had to pay that. The pro glass is every bit as good as my two razor2's. I find the g2/g3 reticle to be perfect, very useful Christmas tree for 6.5 and 6mm cal, but not a hot mess like the horus or similar reticles.

Looks similar to a CCH Leupold reticle. A bit busy for me personally.
