Besides the horseshoe reticle and capped windage knob on the LRHS, any other noticeable differences? Anyone compared the glass side by side?

I pulled the trigger on the LRHS thinking it was the LRTS because it was a killer deal and am wondering if there are any other things I may be giving up

I'm almost positive they're the same scope with the only differences being the reticle and windage knob. I'd buy with confidence. I just got a 4.5-18 LRHS and my buddy just ordered a 3-12 LRTS. I'll update you with his initial reaction. Mine so far has been nothing short of outstanding. The day i got it i took it out side by side with my USO SN-3 and it very much held it's own. Glass is honestly incredible for for the price. Better than my previous ERS by a good bit and while not quite putting up the resolution of my SN-3 or edge to edge clarity it isn't far off. Most people are saying Gen I Razor and i'd say that's very accurate. Reminds me of my dad's Gen I razor Binocs. All in all it's just a ridiculous amount of scope for the money and I'm tickled to see that the glass has lived up the claim of matching 2000$ glass.

Here's some quotes from the thread i linked to above about the LRTS

"Have the LRTSi and AMG. Put both side by side on same power to have a look-see. Bright clear day....looking at multiple objects. If people say the AMG blows away the Bushnell....it's not what I saw. The Bushnell was bright, clear, crisp....and held it's own with the AMG. The AMG reticle was better ....the Bushnell got a little thick on 18x....just a little. I may have been spoiled by the amazingly thin crosshairs of the AMG on 24x. Bushnell glass was impressive."

"I studied the image in my 4.5-18 LRTSi next to my old Bushy ERS, a SightronSIII, a new Tango 6, and my Gen 3 Kahles. Did one round while it was bright, the next while over cast.. read license plates at 400, and picked out objects to 1600+. The glass is good, very good for the price. It crushes the old ERS in color and resolution, it easily beats the Sightron in resolving power, brighter and poppier to me than the Tango 6 and maybe resolves a bit better, the Kahles beats it in brightness but with the little bit of CA on max power in the Kahles, the image may be a bit sharper in the LRTSi. The eyebox is awesome, the best next in feel to the Kahles, controls feel great, its lighter, not light, but not bad. Only drawback I find is the illum reticle is a tad thick, but of course in low light it has its advantages. They obviously bumped up the glass quality in these. It makes me excited to take a look through the Gen 2 ERS/XRSs that will be coming."

Glad you like the 4.5-18 LRHS.

You describing it reminds me of how I perceived the glass quality in the Athlon Cronus 4.5-29x56 when I went back and forth for hours comparing it to my S&B and March FX. I like to look at pine needles and the small fonts of signs to look for the differences. It held it's own and there wasn't hardly any difference but S&B was a little warmer in color hue. I had my 3-12 LRHS at the time too and the Cronus on 12x was brighter and gave a more pleasing image quality.

I only looked through a Cronus for a short amount of time, but was impressed none the less. I'd say nipping at the G2 razor's heels is an accurate statement for the Cronus. For the money though especially with the rebate i think the LRTS/LRHS is unbeatable right now. If the OP were looking into the 1500-1800$ range obviously the Cronus would be in the discussion.
