Looking at the LRS 5-15x40 for my CZ452 varmint for shooting at 100 yds but also to 200. I have 25 MOA base installed, but specs only list 40 ins of adjustment at 100 yds.

How does this work out to adjustment at longer ranges?

With your 25 moa base, you should be able to dial out to 300 yards or so with the Bushy, with a 50y zero (if you have 20 moa of up left after zeroing). If using this rifle/scope as a trainer, keep in mind that the scope is mil/moa. It'd be nice if the units matched, for ease and training sake.
If you aren't shooting squirrels at close range or something, you might like a fixed SS 12x better... And way more internal adjustment if you wanna try taking it past 300 yards... And best of all, mil/mil. The Bushnell is a good variable SFP and is overlooked these days mainly for being mil/moa. Similar to Vortex's 6.5-20x44.
