Are there any alternative for the butler creek flip caps? I just had the eyepiece cap snap off when I went to open it. I pushed the button and pop, the cap stayed in place but the hinge piece flipped up. The scope is a S&B 5-25x56.

I did not realize they would replace it. I will get in touch with them for the replacement. I am not 100% sure but the cap may have been 1 size too small. It was already on the scope when I received it. The inside of the cap is marked 14 16 17. I don't know if that is the size or not.

Check out Bushwacker Mfg, Vortex includes them with their scopes and I think I prefer them over Butler Creek, quieter and have better fit.

Used flip ups until it got to the point that they wouldn't stay closed anymore. Tossed em all and went back to bikini covers.

i seem to eat them. The best I have found are the ones that come with the cheap POS center point scopes. But I don't want to $70 bucks for a set of lens caps but I picked up 2 of the scopes for my daughters rifles and kept the caps for myself. They are thicker and tougher the BC's.
