The BC cap on my 37mm ERGO are 1.865in which puts it at a # 27. although according to their sizing its around 1.84 inches, you might have to sit it in the sun a bit to get it to fit alright.

You crack me up John
Trigger, as someone who is seriously thinking about an ST-10 for his new build I demand pictures!

Ummm...you may want to check that, all my USO's run 16's on the eyepieces. </div></div>I'll check the package, but I had JUST picked one up for my SN3 1.8-10 when I had posted it...

I think I clarified before but this is a SN3 1.8-10x37 TPAL, not a ST-10.
This one is snug. Not so snug that it interferes with the function of the cap (I have had them like that) but definitely won't be coming off. The 20 was a bit on the big side. I don't think I could possibly have squeezed a 16 on there.
Well, turns out you were right, Sobr. I got to playing around with mine, decided it was too loose, and brought it, with the scope, back to the store where I bought it. I was able to squeeze a 17 on, and it still works well. So I guess 17 is the answer!
