I see folks with pouches/packs on the rifle rifle butts and I'm wondering where to find a good one. This would be for carrying dope, minimal amount of rounds, and whatever else one might need..How are these secured to the rifle and where's a good source. This would be for a TRG22, thanks.

Re: butt stock pack

Careful not to carry too much dope, felony in some states... Jk, opticsplanet has some OD Eagle stock packs for $30, Sand for $39 I think, black ones too. I just got a used Eagle stock pack and I like it.

Edit: Didn't know Triad had them. He is a vendor, do that.

Re: butt stock pack

I think you got your answer on where to buy them from. ha!

The underside of the stock pack is the loop side of Velcro. There are three webbing straps with velcro hooks on one side to connect it to the pack and hook/loop on the other end to feed it through a ring and lock onto itself. You can adjust how long they need to be to fit your rifle along with the angles to a certain degree. I brings your cheek weld up a bit if that matters. If you need more, use some mouse pad or beer coozie.

How well does this work with an adjustable cheek weld? I'm guessing for hunting purposes, I wont need it elevated as the extra padding will compensate for this???? Again, this is for a TRG22..Thanks for the replies..

Re: butt stock pack

I have one of Triad's, Eagle stock packs on my TRG 42.
It fits well, and I have a spacer in the rest.
The pack, makes the stock more comfortable...Thats what i like!

The only draw back.... you have to take it off, when you take the bolt out!
Other than that, I love mine!!
But...you would have to take it off to clean it, anyway.

Just my 2 cents...
Hope it helps!
