I recently purchased a pistol on armslist from a lavon Warner of 11419 Ridgely Rd Ridgely MD phone number 410-364-9100, and it’s a scam. This person will give you all kinds of bs that he is doing this for his step daughter who is in the hospital, and that he was robed after cashing the money orders. He then wanted more money to drive it to me from Maryland lol I live in Washington state. I offer that if this was true for him to take it to a local FFL. And I’d arrange to pay the shipping myself. He now is non responsive.
I paid by postal money order, and have contacted the ATF, POSTMASTER, AND POLICE IN RIDGELY, MD
I’m now posting on every forum so this person is no longer able to do this to any one else.

Good. I hope the authorities nail his ass and return your money soon.

I fucking hate thieves.

I use money orders all the time. Perhaps far more than any debit or credit card. And I keep the receipt stubs of all money orders for a long time after a transaction too. Hell, I still got mid to late 2000's stuff filed away in a folder. It is a useful practice to observe...

It's Ridgely Maryland, he's probably related to at least one of the two cops there. That's a backwoods hickfuck town if I've ever been through it. BTW, the address you have is the church.

Quick search reveals:

Or he might live with a relative:
Po Box 233, Ridgely, MD 21660

It's a small town, so I'm sure everybody in town knows who he is.

For shit like this, if you send an MO, use the service that requires an ID check that matches the adddressee for delivery (I forget the specific name of the service . . .) I got one back (and it barfed up it's real name trying to get me to change to allow delivery). Cost me something like $4, but saved $400 . . .

Always do PayPal (not friends and family) and you’ll be covered with buyer protection. If I don’t know the person and the product is to be received via mail or any other form instead of in person, I won’t take the chance. I’ve been burned too :/ lesson learned.

Not so fast

Here is what I remember. Memory could be a little fuzzy and probably not......

Paypal is anti 2A. A few years back, they removed firearms companies from using their product and wont protect firearms sales. They will say it was used not in accordance with their policies.

Usps mo takes time and works out. Ask me how I know........

And lolol that the ATF or postmaster is going to do anything. The MD police and prosecutors will do jack and shit. That's a protected species in MD. Laws are only for the tax slave.

Reiterating what someone already told you on Shooter's Forum - "That is not the scammer’s real name, address, or phone number. That is the scam, it is all fake info. He/she will use different fake name address and number on their next scam. "

Stop being gullible.
