I'm always looking for ammo here lately. One in particular happened the other day on instagram. The username is Bullets001 and the Paypal username is [email protected]. I asked him about some Hornady Match 140 grain in 6.5 Creedmoor. He quoted me a price that was fishy from the beginning, at $390 for a case of 1000. I asked if I could see some pics of the ammo, and he initially told me they only get access to the warehouse when the order is confirmed and the money is received. When I didn't answer, he sent me a pic of a box of exactly what I asked for. Then he asked me to send the money with friends and family. Another red flag. I wasn't positive it was a scam until I did an image search. That's when I found the exact image he sent me.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I'm attaching pics below of everything.

Scams are everywhere and honestly most are blatantly obvious

The problem is people are desperate for a deal or think they won the internet lottery and got there before the guy realized what a mistake he made.

Same thing here, people fall for the dumbest stuff because they either, "want to believe" or they are too smart to fall for that, which is of course not true.

If the deal in 2020 is too good to be true or is under cost by $200 it's a scam.

i cant worry about that right now. someone wants to give me cash for my property ASAP.
I can give you a chest of diamonds for that money if you contact my lawyers immediately. They've only been owned by five non-successive Nigerian princes and must be moved out of the country by tomorrow.

same here had a guy selling ammo on instagram, he was real vague in his replies and his prices were to good to be true. i asked him for the name of the shop and business phone number and he went radio silent

Or... It is legit. But they are handloads, packed in old boxes. Heard about that shit happening on other platforms before. The last thing you want would be accidentally cycling through your action somebody's drunken Super-Super Magnum wildcat experiments that they did not want to pursue anymore but didn't want to go through the trouble of pulling the bullets and dumping the powder again...

I went to a site called gunslist.org, price of AE Federal was insanely good. Contacted them asked for the name and FFl#....conversation stopped and never heard back. I kind of assumed so as they were using whatsapp to communicate lol.

Edit: now they state only provided after the order....yea I bet lol

I have a pending (paid) $1400 order at PlanetBackorder... every 4 weeks, they tack on another 4 weeks. MidwayUSA says it won't be available until next June. If interest rates weren't at 0%, I'd think this is a cash/interest scam at a massive level.
