The Great Beyond
So updating my carry because I have nothing better to do and I think "we" hate every single (handgun) gun company in existence.

Glock: Ugly and Fanbois. Trigger is ass
CZ: Sold out to Canada
Colt: Owned by CZ, sold out to canada
S&W: Clinton Locks
Ruger: "its a Ruger" and the AWB
Springfield: Sold out Illinois
HK: FU Customer Peasant
Beretta: Too Italian plus eww italian
Tangfo: Race Gun Unicorn plus eww italian
Walther: Too German
Kimber: Fanbois and MIM
Hi Point and Kahr: lol
Sig: 320
STI/Stacatto: Overprice Tacticool timmy shit
IWI: too jewish

I'm sure I missed some. Gettin so a fella can't buy a firearm around here w/o stepping on some toes.

That's why I selected the Magnum Research Desert Eagle. Small, compact, perfect caliber (50AE).

Sorry I need my coffee this AM.

I see the Tisas 1911 as the best deal anywhere.
A dear friend of my shot competition 1911 for many years. We broke it down so he could inspect it, and he was amazed at the quality! Myself included as a fan of the 1911
I have one, stainless, well made, still in the box waiting for the next democrat about to be president gun buying surge.

Man, you could invent a pistol that gave you a blowjob every time you shot it, and somebody with a Kel Tec or High Point etc... on one of the forums would hate on you.

Mostly it is a brand loyalty thing, but I don't understand the constant crapping on other brands just because you prefer another... Actually I do if you prefer a Kel Tec, High Point, Turkish, Kimber etc... etc...

It is like Chevy vs. Ford vs. Ram et. al. Dude might have 150K flawless miles on his truck, but f@c# his truck because it isn't the same make as yours.

Actually, I just buy older guns now because I can't be disappointed by the company that manufactured them (back then). It is like getting a tattoo of someone's name on you... You only do it for dead relatives that can't piss you off anymore.

I remember a certain fella or two that tried to do that with a precision rifle, when they weren’t selling sausage and mowing lawns

We remember how that worked out…

The Walther PDP-F Pro and the Walther PDP-Pro (if you have big hands) should be near the top of your list.
Unless you want hammer fired pistols, they are better in many respects than the H&K offerings.

CZ makes some nice and highly desirable pistols, especially if you spend the $600 to have them sent to Cajun Gun Works afterwards.

You could list Wilson Combat with the SIG P320 mess since they make custom P320s, so if there really is an issue, they certainly should have caught it and shouldn't be selling them.

They still sell them, so if you're going to kill SIG for it, Wilson Combat has to go as well.

And I own and carry my Wilson P320, still, no concerns whatsoever.

Wasn't it basically shown that CZ was in fact, not helping confiscate guns in Canada?
Sir, we don';t deal with facts and logic. We're gun owners.

Ironically a post came across my feed about "biggest shill in the gun industry" I simply said "All of them"

Shout out to Rock Island for making a Stacatto at half a third the price (damn sti, keep gotta pay those timmys!). IYKYK

I've been happy with the two PSA daggers that I bought 2 years ago , the compact g19 clone was two small for my 3X hands but the S model full size fits well after I ground the finger groove off and rounded the edges of the trigger gaurd , probably 1000 rounds of drills at the range with very few hiccups , mostly ammo issues, and it's american made , I did replace the trigger on both , a zev on the compact and timney on the full size .

I don’t want to feel bad that I carry a Glock and that I am enamored with CZ 1911's.
I would really appreciate it if you guys could be ok with that.

I also like a couple of the old IOR scopes..... but keep that last bit on the down low for me, dog

Frankly, I don't know enough about "brands" yet to make any judgements with any kind of authority. So, I won't. And I'll also not reject a brand based on "Political Reasons," either. I know you guys hate Colt (and therefore CZ) because of Canada, right now, but I will still acquire my "Peacemaker" when I can afford it. I know I poke a lot of fun at Glock owners, but that doesn't mean I'd never own one. I just prefer Sig Sauer over Glock. And I"ll stick by them, P-320 not withstanding. My P-320 has been modified and has not offered a lick of trouble. even before the mod. I just prefer it over Glock. In fact, I prefer SW Shield / M & P series over Glock. Doesn't mean I'll never own a Glock. I just don't need one right now. And, yes, I've shot Glocks before. A 19, 23 & 43 to be precise. I've even shot one that was chambered for 40 S & W.

Anyway, I want to ask a somewhat related question about "Inventories and Acquisitions" but I'll create a separate thread for it.

Oem Turkish gun, oem Chinese optic. Losing industries to China starts with Americans buying chicom oem stuff.
The irony is you're probably posting this on a Chinese made computer (at least the major components), which is fed internet from a Chinese made modem/router. Not to mention pretty much everyones cell phones, TVs, etc.

Also, to my knowledge, there are zero RDS that are 100% American made. Most are US assembled, but not all components come from the US.

I am a Glock fan, not fan boi, but chose the Sig P365X for my CCW. Added a different grip and it fits my hand well, shoots relatively flat compared to a Shield and so far has been reliable. Not a fan of SIG as a company, with the 320 issues but ALL companies have their issues.

I own at least one handgun from half the brands listed in the opening post. I would also likely be happy owning handguns from the other half as well (even a Hi Point). Handguns are tools. I am not a brand loyal fanboi.

The fact of the matter is my CZP09 is has been a fine gun.

I haven't shot it nearly as much as my 1911 or 2011s but I carry it. If I have to use it fast. I dont want to have to flip the safety ona 1911. No it's not hard, sure you can train. Or not.

Browning Hi Power. Used by police and/or military in over 50 countries. I'm sure at least one of those countries doesn't suck.
Manhurin MR88. Good enough for the frogs to abuse for decades. Or the MR73. Good enough for the GIGN.
Spohr. Like a S&W on steroids.
Korth. Like a pretty S&W on a smaller dose of steroids.

LMFAO! Despite my second sentence preempting and debunking your predictable, weak and irrelevant reply, you don't even recognize that people who are okay with buying OEM products of Chicommers, are the very reason China has taken over entire industries from western companies- like small appliances and much of tech! You're arguing against my rejection of oem Chinese products, by pointing out the very problem your choices created! You can't make this stuff up! hahaha

The fact that I can't find a toaster not made in China, isn't a moral equivalent to you buying a new Holosun optic!

Off topic as it is, you did say you didn't know of an American made optic- Trijicon dot optics are "Made in USA". But even other brands that are "assembled in USA" are much better than oem Chinese products. Buying a western company's optic that's made in China isn't as bad, but I spend more and go out of my way to avoid that.

Trijicon dot optics are made in USA
Aimpoint dot optics are made in Sweden
EoTech dot optics are assembled in USA
Sig Sauer's best dot optics are assembled in USA
Vortex makes many of their best dot optics in China, but Vortex is a western company
Shield sights are made in the U.K.

For those of us who look for it- many appliances especially large ones, smartphones, computers, laptops, tablets, routers and wireless access points, managed switches, memory sticks, CPUs, drives, are made in or assembled in other Asian nations, Mexico, and even the USA, for western companies.

I'm done with this thread.
