I'm planning my .458 SOCOM build, and I will be ordering an upper from RRA. The website says 30-60 days lead time, but I am wondering do they charge you at the time of order or when the product ships?
Why not order from any one of RRA's hundreds of dealers that are likely to have them in stock and ready to roll?!?! Ordering from RRA can be an exercise in patience because often time, their lead times are very much wishful thinking!
+1 for AR15Sales!! Cheaper and usually dropped shipped direct from RRA.

G2004... I didn't see 458 uppers on Class 3. Did I miss it? </div></div>
Sorry for the confusion. I was just saying that Class 3 was a good place to deal with. I bought a .223 varmint upper, and they had them in stock when no one else did. Not sure if they have the 458s but it would be worth a check. Good luck.
i ordered my LAR about 5-6 months ago direct from RRA, pretty picky custom build. they had it to my ffl in about 2-3 weeks (including a buis issue, kindly corrected). not sure if they've been backed up since then, but their customer service was stellar. randy was the dude from RRA that helped me out.
