Cadex Defense CDX 30 vs AI AX ...

Anyone here have any sided by side experience with both of these rifles ? Which do you prefer? Which is most refined ?

Obviously BIG money , which has the better build quality...

I don't have extensive time with the Cadex but it is a well crafted rifle. On that front it doesn't give anything up to the AI. I own a AI-AX and won't trade it for anything, but if I didn't get an AI Cadex would be at the top of my list. Keep in mind that post 2014 AX rifles have the quick barrel change. The Cadex CDX-30 is not a quick barrel change system, so while you'll save a few bucks, you also lose a feature that many are willing to pay more for.
