Just remember you get what you pay for. Yes they are cheaper, bt there is a reason. Save up the dough and pick up a Harris, or save a lil more and get a Atlas or GG&G
I have the Caldwell and Harris. There is an obvious difference in quality. The
Harris was made much better. I keep the Caldwell around for .22's or a loaner bipod for friends. Save for the Harris or better yet, the Atlas.

Agree 100%. I have a Caldwell for my Savage Mk. II with a Boyd's Tacticool stock. Though now that I have an Atlas I'm going to put a pic rail on my Mk. II so I can use my Atlas on that gun too
I used the Caldwell for awhile, and now have the Harris with the Kmw pod lock. The Harris is much nicer and glad I spent the money to get Harris. I suggest saving up for the Harris and also get the Pod Loc if you want a swivel, and I think you do.
Since the caldwell came on the market, harris' are selling for a little bit less.
I have a harris 9-13 and a caldwell 6-9 both swivel with notched legs.
The harris is more postive on leg locking. The caldwell beats no pod.
I use them both.
I think you made a good call. I was looking at the Caldwell bipods when they were on sale, but decided against it after reading the reviews on Midway. I love my Harris bipods. Never used an Atlas......and probably won't either....I have nothing against them but the price tag.
