California DOJ running sting operations at Nevada Big Reno Gun Show.

72,000 overdose deaths vs 297 deaths by any kind of rifle.....

Nationwide.

So Calipornia’s answer it to hand out free syringes and infringe on 2A rights - while pretending people aren’t shitting in the streets.

Build a wall, stop the handout money and watch the zombie apocalypse

Cali-fornication really needs to be taught a very painful and realistic lesson. Sadly, the 2019 Black Death of San Francisco never materialized. Probably not enough shit, fleas, or rats.

Cutting off ALL fed aid to that state will result in funny things happening within a very short period of time.

If you are a Commiefornia voter, you should be more careful what you wish for. Those Liberal hacks did not just insert themselves into office.

You can bet they run all the CA plates in the parking lot at the NV gun shows - and if you don’t get stopped on the road - you can look forward to the gestapo knocking your door down the next week for some illegal search and seizure - because it’s obvious the Constitution of The United States no longer applies in the Socialist Republik of Commiefornia.

Thats why you ask to borrow your friends car.

@MarcS make it out yet? From Spartan Rifles?

I, Bender, with the power vested in me, as a 40yr naturally born citizen and resident of Wyoming, do here by grant Mark at Spartan Rifles all the rights and privileges as well as Honorary Residential status of the state of Wyoming to enjoy the the freedoms associated with and but not limited to, freedom to own all high capacity magazines, all forms of rifles to include “black assault type” rifles, all the ammunition your property can physically hold, no permit concealed carry, and freedom from city and state income taxation.

Marc now you can identify as a Wyoming citizen and be free in the sanctuary state as a criminal.

The Summit County gun show last week had an unmarked that did a drive thru the entire parking area.
Don't know what they were doing but they had a 360* camera system, I don't know of ANY NE Ohio LEO running 360 cameras and scanners?

This is nothing new unfortunately... About 10 years ago I sold some AR and FAL parts via Calguns in a face to face transaction to a rather cool dude who it turns out worked for the CA DOJ. During our rather long BS session he cautioned me about CA DOJ undercovers monitoring the big Reno show and to a lesser extent some shows in Arizona. This person worked undercover for narcotics related activities, but being a "gun guy" he did not like how the CA DOJ handled the firearms side of the department and tipped me off about the undercover Reno show monitoring.

Several friends called me paranoid and kept buying verboten-in-CA items at the Reno shows and driving home with their hauls, but about a year after I talked to the CA DOJ employee a friend who I had cautioned about the undercovers took an AR up to Reno and was walking around the show with it in a non-CA compliant configuration trying to sell it (not featureless and no bullet button.) On the way home he was pulled over by CHP after crossing back into CA and then CA DOJ rolled up. Unfortunately for him he was too damn lazy to return the rifle to a CA-compliant configuration before driving home by taking the 2 minutes to reinstall the bullet button in the parking lot and was instead waiting until he got home. CA DOJ took the rifle that was at the time of the stop in a non-CA compliant configuration. It was a cheap build, and he never received any criminal charges other than confiscation, but it was a wake up call nonetheless.

Now, not only can the CA DOJ go after people bringing >10 round mags and non-CA compliant AR builds back into the state, with the new background check rules for loaded ammo sales they can also get people for bringing loaded ammo purchased out of CA back into the state without either possessing an 03 FFL and COE of their own or having it shipped back to a CA FFL for the background check...

After typing that, I find myself thinking "why the hell do I still live here?"

Ordinary women will justify blowing a stranger for a fancy meal. I’m not saying all of them would. If you lower your expectations of people and catch them right after they brush their teeth, you’ll set yourself up for fewer disappointments.

This will be what pulls into the parking lots....

The same equipment they drive around with to capture images and facial recognition at 2A rallies.

The fact that those are visible or even existent tells me that a lot of the people who claim they'd stand up for our rights are more full of shit than a septic treatment plant. Also it tells me that 2A rallies don't do much--actually the results of NY and CA having rallies every year and they keep getting more anti gun laws also tells me that. Is there a reason our side allows this to go on?

A retired NYC cop once told me they cruised guns shows watching for anyone buying handgun related items. They would follow the guy after he left and "find" a reason to pull him over.

Seems like a good idea not to drive home immediately after buying stuff at a gun show.

Get there early, buy your stuff, and then spend the rest of the day enjoying the nearby cuisine, tour a mall, watch a movie, spend time with friends, go to a park... Anything. Maybe enjoy the nightlife a bit. Then drive home, or take a cab, or public transport.

Oh and also, rental cars, Home Depot/U-Hauls for the win...

It is really a damn shame when citizens not engaged in the committing of a crime are being targeted like fucking fugitives when real scumbags are out there terrorizing the community.

A LEO once explained it to me like this:
“It’s easier to catch J-walkers than bank robbers.”
Actual public safety be damned.

We all know California has shit laws, but they are laws. If you’re that stupid to cross the border, buy shit that’s illegal in your home state, then drive back into your home state with items that are prohibited by law, then you’re a fucking idiot and deserve what happens. Don’t like your state’s laws? Move out of the state or run for office and propose legislation to remedy the wrongs you see.

People who see a problem with them doing this probably don’t see a problem with LE rolling up to a dude who just left a house known for selling narcotics. Can’t have it both ways.

Fuck California but everyone who got busted in the “sting” deserves it for being so fucking stupid.

Won't argue the stupid part. What will you do if/when your firearm of choice is banned in your state?

If agents from CA are crossing into NV to perform law enforcement functions, that is a problem and it needs to cease and desist immediately. Yes, California has their fucking laws, yes they are grossly unconstitutional and no, they are not fucking welcome to enforce them on Nevada soil.

This...

Consider that Virginia's leftist usurpers are chomping at the bit to make every gun owner in the state a felon.

They have issued a blatant challenge to us with that one. How we will respond when the time comes remains yet to be seen...

Fuck gun laws and prohibiting offenses and anyone that supports or enforces it.

The saddest part of this "sting" is it does more to oppress the general law abiding gun owners in the state than anything else. To the gov bureaucrats it matters not that they are doing nothing to stop the violent criminals who already have no business possessing firearms, accessories, ammo, or components of any kind due to existing federal laws.

Law abiding citizens with guns is what Uncle Sam fears the most.

I agree with most of your posts on here, but Im not entirely on board with this one. In my opinion, if a person is convicted of a felony and serves their time, they should get all their rights back upon release.

People convicted of violent crimes that are felonies, such as murder, rape, brutal assaults or sex offender status, is a different story. But non violent felons, should be no different than you or I when it comes to having rights. Jusy my opinion.

They dont enforce their laws until you cross back into that hell hole

That ship sailed literally decades ago.
Narcotics aren't a Constitutional right.
I've noticed that the states to "move" to are becoming harder to come by.
As Kalifornia doesn't enforce immigration law I'm going to call bullshit on the law abiding ideas.

I guess I need to add sarcasm tags to my posts.

If they make it so owning a currently legal item makes you a felon. And people still support "felons" and "prohibited persons" being banned the right to own guns. I don't know what to tell you.

Prohibiting offenses are bull shit. It's just more gun control they use to control YOU. People are stupid. .gov never has your interests in mind. It's alway about stealing more control, freedom and money from you.

If a person is to dangerous to own a gun they should not be walking the streets in the first place. The felon an gun shit is just a feel good law. I can show you 100's of items way more deadly than a POS gun that are common it most every store you walk into. So please save the felon & gun shit for none thinkers.

If CA agencies (state, county or local level) are in Nevada (on our soil) for the explicit purpose of enforcing CA laws (surveillance, PID of “suspects” , intelligence gathering or anything related), they are overstepping period.

To put it differently, if I was the governor (haha, I wish) I would issue a verbal and written notice to CA’s dept of justice that any agency or representative thereof caught engaging in activities described above for purposes of enforcing their gun control laws, would be arrested on the spot by NV law enforcement. My message would be very blunt and very public so there’s no misunderstandings.

lol they can do so all they want, every paycheck I’ve ever made has come directly or indirectly from either a state or federal agency. The drinky drank I’m sipping on right now was paid for by the federal govt, as was the ammo shot this weekend. Do I agree with California’s laws? Fuck no. Do I think firearms should be banned? Fuck no. Do I think that stupid people deserve the stupid prizes they receive for playing stupid games? Fuck yes.

That’s a very real possibility and it’s even more so a possibility that I’ll be forced to move to a state that prohibits some of the items I own. Hell, I’m about to turn all my shit over to the govt for a few years while I’m living in Europe. I could come back and everything I own could be illegal to own (I fucking hope not). I could come back and immediately be sent to Cali, where everything but my damn bolt gun is illegal. What I can say is that I wouldn’t voluntarily move to a state that doesn’t mesh with my quality of life standard. If I’m a permanent resident of a state and the state legislature is proposing bills I don’t agree with, then I’ll run for office and do what I can to be involved with the legislative process in order to do what’s best for the people.

I’m not going to make excuses or talk out of my ass by calling for unethical, immoral, or illegal action against those who don’t agree with me or my way of life. This isn’t a non-developed or developing nation. That’s not how you create change.

It sucks that Californians have to travel out of state to get to temporarily enjoy the tools we are able to utilize. It really does. What that tells me is that the people of California need to become politically active and work their asses off to change the state law(s).

As always, fuck California. Awesome dumplings and Vietnamese food, but fuck that state.

?

Why is the second amendment listed in the bill of rights?

Oh. And all those people in China and USSR and Germany and Cuba and Venezuela and South Africa and Rhodesia should have voted to change the laws or run for public office. But that will never happen here.
