True or False?

Does California have a law restricting the ability of US citizens with regard to direct shipping to an FFL inside CA for repairs? This is what the FFL in CA is telling me....

If so, how is this possible, doesn't this restruct interstate commerce without consent of the citizens of the other states it impacts?

No the dealer is wrong. As a private person you can send a weapon to a license dealer. There are exceptions for banned AW's.

That being said the dealer is under no obligation to accept a shipment from a private person and some dealer, no matter what state they're in, will only take shipments from other dealers.

Randy is correct, some dealer will only accept from other dealers. I personally don't have a problem with receiving from individuals just as long I have their correct info to enter in my log books
