Californians are the dumbest people in the US

Bwahahahaha!

Don’t forget carrying concealed to and from there too. Give Cali a few years, they will be having to buy carbon credits on each box of ammo and pay an EPA tax on the lead.

I took a recent trip to the Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce parks. If there was an asshole riding my ass while I drove through absolute majesty at the speed limit, 9/10 times they had Cali plates. They have no idea how to enjoy life as theirs is so miserable.

IIRC, lead bullets are already illegal in Cali, though it might just be for hunting.

Most of the stupid laws in the US begin in Cali.
Nevermind having the most overturned courts in the country.

Wow, you certainly missed the entire point of my original post. A visa is not exclusionary, it just acts as a potential filter.

If you don't vote democrat/socialist/communist then my post was not directed at you to begin with.
So, you are good with putting 78.51 million American citizens in the same status as foreigners because of the misguided policies that a few hundred politicians come up with? I think maybe you missed my point. As Americans "we" do not do that to other Americans. As much as I hate the politics out of the aforementioned states I can't even process that as rational thinking. I know shit has literally hit the fan politics wise, but America ceases to be America when we talk about having to prove loyalty to a certain political group or ideology to determine where we can and can't live, it reeks more of communism than freedom to me. Also placing travel restrictions on 78.51 million people based solely on where they reside and your perception of what they believe in, again based solely on where they happen to reside. is nothing more than playing identity politics which is exactly the tactic used by the democrat/socialist/communists you speak of. This asinine recurring theme of "i'm more American because I was born and live in XXXXX" chaps my ass. But it's ok, because if the shit ever goes full meltdown in America and the shooting begins, i'll be on the side of the people here on SH who daily label me as some kind of democrat/socialist/communist because of where I happen to lay my head at night, and they will be glad to have me. And trust me, my bullets and guns shoot as straight as any made/bought outside of democrat/socialist/communist California.

Cali is so bad. You can surf in the morning, shoot guns in the desert in the afternoon, and snow ski in the evening. And they have the nerve to have high paying jobs. You should probably move to the Midwest where it's legal to knock up your cousin and ride around dirt roads drinking Schlitz listening to Florida Georgia Line.
Edit: Disregard, there is no answer to this kind of fucking stupidity.

I saw a reply to my last post for a minute and then it was gone. Please don't take my replies to your posts as a personal attack, I believe a lot of the same things as you, maybe not so much the proposed methods though. I know your original was tongue and cheek but I am often amazed and upset by some of the proposals I see here fairly regularly about what people think is the right thing to do about states like California, and some people are dead serious about it regardless of the fact that there are literally tens of millions of people in these states that feel as strongly as they do, we just happened to be outnumbered. A lot of people will instinctively say "then get out", but where to run too? Even states like Texas and Arizona are feeling the blue cancer that is spreading, and it's not just California transplants that are spreading it, our entire education system is compromised. In every city and town there are people indoctrinating our children into their world view, maybe we should think about finding a solution to this problem before we think about isolating a huge segment of American citizens because of their geographic location. Or I have another even crazier idea...it would only take 4-5 million more Conservative voters to turn the state of California and deny the Democrats 55 electoral college votes. Why can't we get that many people who supposedly care so much to put their money where their mouths are and do it, liberals are doing it because they have people that are actually committed to their cause and because of that they are slowly winning. Liberal politicians have actually encouraged their base to infiltrate red cities and states in order to flip them, when was the last time a conservative told their constituents to do something as bold as that? Would any listen? Are we losing the war for our country because of an unwillingness to actually commit to action that might make a difference? Or are we just a bunch of old men who sit around on the internet pointing fingers and not actually doing something about the problem? The military taught me to fight wars from the front line, not keep retreating until there is no place left to retreat too. How many states have to fall to the blue cancer before there's no place left to hide? Will everyone who believes in the constitution be forced into one state in the future? Which state will it be? Does anyone think that is a winnable tactical or strategic position to be in? I just can't see it. I know i'm rambling on but I see a whole lot of people with ideas on how to "fix" our country, but in reality I see very few willing to make any sacrifices of their own to make it happen, and that folks is how we will eventually lose this war, IMO.

Well, it was a joke. I just spent 2 weeks in DTLA and agree that Cali has some major issues, but there's also a lot of really good people still there. Would I live there, no, but I don't get the level of hate levied by some who have never spent time there...

Jim,

I don't take stuff on web boards personally but thanks for making that point. I did delete my earlier reply because I don't think it was correct for the thread or board.

Sarcasm just doesn't work well in written form sometimes, I will man up and say sorry, I retract my statement.

When you go shoot in the desert, can you bring your suppressed SBR and standard capacity magazines.
A 50 cal?
A semi handgun like a glock 17 with standard magazines?

I would not own a SBR anyway. Yes I shoot my 50 cal in the desert. Don’t own a Glock 17 but I do own a few 20s and a 22 and use standard mags. For so many folks that don’t live in CA, you all seem to be so sure at how bad it is. Do our gun laws suck...yes. I dont live in a large city...LA, SD, Oakland, SF or others so I doubt my town is much diffrent from yours. CA, like many others, is run by the majority of libs in large cities who control the votes. It’s easy for libs to move out of CA into other states and end up controlling them because there are so few people living in the state to start with that it doesn’t take much to change things. I may go back to Wyoming eventually but it hasn’t gotten so bad here that I can’t manage it.

California has turned in to a disaster. It's what happens when San Fransisco became the storage space for all the fruits and nuts of the country and Los Angeles' culture is too heavily influenced by Hollywood and all of the mental defectives in show business. That entirely screwed up our politics.

30 years ago it was already screwed up but not so bad and it was in a steady decline for about 20 years after that and about 10 years ago things started accelerating.

I want to get out but my job does not exist elsewhere (poor planning on my part). I have golden handcuffs but they are making my skin turn green.

Don't worry, when I eventually escape I will not "vote like a Californian" when I get there.

I used to think that California was the front line in the battle for freedom and leaving would just make the problem worse but my home state is fucked and remaining is pointless.

Where are the hide members saying thank you to CA Stupidity?

CA banned mail order ammo sales - Anyone notice that when that law went into effect
22 LR Shortage ended?
Ammo Prices plummeted?

CA banned many semi autos - when that went into effect,... well have you ever seen an AR10/15 for cheaper? There are a lot of bullet shooters in CA... CA purchased a lot of toys.... not industry sales are way off.....

It's like the panic of 1994 and the price collapse in 1995.... CA has a lot of shooters... to bad so many people here NEVER Vote...

I don't have to spend time in Angola or Venezuela to know how screwed up they are.
Nevermind Cali willingly traded freedom for insanity.

Cali is not Angola or Venezuela. They have twice the GDP of the next closest state and despite the majority cultural shift that has shaped their policies regarding entitlements, gun laws, taxes, etc, it's a great example of what capitalism can accomplish. Imagine having so much wealth you can afford to pay more people to do nothing than any other state. The sad thing is that the majority of the voters there don't see why that's possible.

Historically - Republicans and Democrats had similar objectives- so we could argue and debate over the solution?
Example- Lower Crime - Safe Schools- we could debate - left , right, center - how to make schools safer.

Historically - democrats liked higher wages and union jobs - they also liked a safe and secure border. They understood that Illegals could do a job they did not want- such as picking produce.. Democrats who were blue collar- Auto workers- welders - plumbers- roofers- contractors -they all wanted secure borders.

Not the progressive party gave all those "non College Stupid Jobs" away.... the democrats are now on the welfare system as those jobs are done by illegals without unions- pensions- Workers comp- health care.

Progressive- hard physical work is stupid
Progressive- raising your own children is stupid
Democrats disagree

California has 13% of the US population, 25% of its homeless, and 33% of its food stamp recipients. It is the poorest country in the nation.
Seriously, how dumb do you have to be to overpopulate an area where you have to import water?

134,000 are homeless out of a total of 39.4 million. Still not good, but it's not 25%. Maybe 0.25%. And despite what you may have read, for a commie state California sure has a lot of capitalists. I expensed over $10,000 in two weeks for hotels, parking, food, rental car, etc for this last project in LA. Nothings free for people with money.

By all means, enlighten us with the state in which you live. 25 percent of the nations homeless live here because who wants to be homeless in Idaho freezing your ass off. If you check your numbers on food stamps, you will see that CA actually has some low percentages compared to other states. CA has close to 40 million people so per capita our overall numbers will always be higher because we have the most populated state.

My state is one view of my profile away, and is one where we don't promote a homeless culture unlike Cali and Oregon, we put them in homes to instead of giving them incentives to stay on the streets. It's also the state with four points less food stamp participation than California (6% vs 10%).

That was more directed for quietmike, I just didn't type fast enough. I was raised in Wyoming and still own a home there. No, they don't give all homeless people homes to live in as I spent a few years working with the Sheriffs department responding to deceased homeless people living in the streets. Living in a homeless shelter for a few days does not equate to be given a home. A recent article shows that roughly 40 percent of the homeless are "considered to be unsheltered, in other words living in inadequate conditions such as cars, parks, and under highway bridges." Enjoy it while you can, they continue to have negative growth and when the Dems get back in power in 2020 and close all the coal mines down, Wyoming is going to have major issues. You really can't compare a state with a population of around 600 thousand (the least populated state in the country) to one with 40 million and the most populated state in the nation.

I can confirm 100% on Texas being flooded with mainly California and other out of state retards especially through the hill country areas where I’m from, which is heartbreaking for me to see as the years go by

We (texas) will be a blue state within a couple of election cycles. My wife said the demographic trends are putting us at less than 25% white by 2040, and I know we will be blue way before then.

Agree 100%. I would much raher take a crap on a warm sunny Cali street than in Boise Idaho.

If we ever happen to go to a hot war with China or North Korea, the Communists in a couple big cities in CA that ruin the state for everyone, might just get to see how much love their fellow "real" communists had for them.
