I was looking to buy an Athlon scope and checking the Athlon website for authorized dealers and Sniper's Hide Vendor's section, Camera Land was the only one I found that was both. I had a question about the purchase, so I messaged Doug through the Sniper's Hide forums. In literally a couple of minutes, Doug called me and answered my questions. I placed my order over the phone.

Great pricing, even better service, plus supports the Sniper's Hide. Just what I'm looking for in vendor. I'll be buying more optics from Doug in the future.

I ordered a Sig Tango 6 through Camera Land and my reticle was jacked up, sent it in to Sig, they said so what and sent it back? Doug saw my post here and called Sig and got me another RMA. I'm currently waiting to see what Sig does on the 2nd go around. Amazing customer service from Camera Land, jury's out on Sig.

Received my Athlon Midas Tac 6-24×50 APRS3 scope today from Camera Land. They dropped in a free knife with the order.

Just a heads up, a lot of the vendors (other than Camera Land) listing the Midas Tac with the APRS3 (Xmas tree) reticle are actually the APRS2 reticle. Make sure that SKU 213077 is correct.

With the exception of one which camera land did not carry I have bought all my optics over the last few from them. I also send a lot of my friends to them to purchase because I know Doug will take good care of them. My running joke is I’m putting at least one of his kids through college. I’m as bad with optics as a woman is with shoes and purses. I guess it’s good that I see I have a problem if you want to call it that.
