The CMP has announced long range competition up to 1000 yards. Below is a portion of the announcement.
Join us August 4-9 at Camp Perry in Port Clinton, Ohio, for the 2025 National Long Range Matches!
This series of competitions features six days of 1,000-yard individual and team competitions along with Mid-Range 600-yard matches, open to Match Rifle, Service Rifle, Palma Rifle, F-Open, F T/R or AR Tactical categories. All National Mid/Long Range events will be fired on CMP’s line of outdoor eTargets!
New for 2025: The Mid-Range Match, consisting of slow-fire prone at 600 yards, will be conducted on two days instead of only one, and a Long Range two-person team match will be fired alongside the four-person team event.
