Its a version of the German no4 reticle , cannot tell you exactly whose version that is though .

Just ribbing you a little. Looks like Trijicon to me, but there may be some others, Chinese knock off included that made something of the sort.

You are correct, it's from a game produced by the US military as a recruitment tool. All weapons and optics in the game are real according to the military. This is the only optic I've not been able to identify. I found out earlier today that the gun it's mounted on is an SV-98. The game is America's Army 3.

Do you know who makes it? I looked at NPZ but it's not on their website. Other than a couple of places referencing/copying the article you showed me and some video games references I can't find anything. The only way to use this thing might be to play a video game that uses it or join the Russian military.

Just a crazy thought, but of it's from a video game perhaps no one makes it. My son often asks my opinion on game firearms that are close, but not exact.

The 1P69 Hyperon is real, it's just currently russian military only and fairly new. After a while it'll hit the market.
