I think this is more complicated then a TMR or simple Mil-Dot Reticle.

What are your guys thoughts?

anyone have a link to info focused on the H27 reticle?

It's a mil-scale reticle where the parallel lines are separated by 1 mil (milliradian). You don't dial your elevation and windage; instead, you hold for elevation and windage using the grid pattern to guide your eye. The rifle is first zeroed at the origin point. There are ballistic calculators that will give you elevation and windage holds in mils, so you just hold at that point in the Horus grid. Pretty straightforward, it's the shooter's version of hands-free dialing.

thanks for the video. Whats the case against it then? Plenty of people when having the H-27 option are taking more traditional reticles

Some think the reticle clutters up too much of the field of view. I used one for several years, and my opinion is that one gets used to that and finds it not a problem.

However, cost is also a factor. I think HorusVision is charging $500 for that reticle, and many will regard that as an obstacle.
