I've got a new 300WinMag in the works (free plug for Accurate Ord.) and I will eventually buy an AE30 for it. Until funds loosen up around summer of next year however, I want to use one of my current .308 cans on it. now, my HVT (Which I sold) was rated for 300WM, my YHM Phantom is rated for .300WM, why is the AAC which has a better core design and made of stronger internal material not? I've asked several people from AAC, and of the 5 people I've gotten 3 different answers...
Has anyone here ran their 7.62SD on a 300 with ill effect? My YHM Phantoms, while QD cans, tend to stay on very specific rifles as they are zero'd with the cans so I don't move them (I've had impact shifts taking the cans on and off).
Thanks for the help guys, good hunting!
