I have a couple of Weatherby Accumarks with a threaded barrels (for the Accubrake). One in 300 WBY and the other in 340 WBY. Factory says its 5/8 x 24 RH. Any issues with mounting a can on this thread? I'd hate to order a can and have it not fit. I don't want to re-cut the barrel either.
Any ideas?
Thanks- Great Forum.

yes....the can MUST shoulder up plumb....and the can MUST be of sufficient caliber so the projo exits safely (preferable ZERO runout)....and the can MUST be able to take magnum pressures

also the 340 is a .34 caliber.....33caliber cans are a hefty lash-up......AND WILL NOT GO THRU A .30CALIBER CAN...

I WOULD GO TO MIDAS AND do a marky mark
