sorry if i posted in the wrong forum, i was looking at some old pictures stored on my laptop and came across this picture. can someone id this rifle for me? worth? gonna make an offer to my uncle (owner) for it.

Without someone knowledgable looking at it and it's marking, the ones that were ruined by someone drilling and tapping the receiver for the scope mount..., no way accurately assess it from that photo.

Yep drilled and tapped for the scope so value is decreased. If its just a M48 or something along those lines (I dont see and discs in the butt stock)Id say 150-200 max

Looks like one one of those Mitchell Arms Mausers. Nice lookin Mauser!
