If it was priced within reason for someone with only a couple calibers, say $50, I'd bet they would sell a lot more copies.

Or maybe offer a "cartridge specific" version that someone could buy for $20.

Re: can someone run quikload

150 is not within reason? Think about how much you spend on other reloading and shooting gear. 150 for a program that will probably replace all your other reloading manuals is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

QL is probably one of the best reloading tools I have every bought. I would not hesitate to drop the money on it again.

Exactly.

Re: can someone run quikload

$150 for vertical market software isn't bad at all. That said, I enjoy playing with QL but wouldn't trust any results much farther than I could throw them. My real-world data has been significantly different too many times and no amount of tweaking has reliably resolved that. (Don't bother sending me your suggestions, I'm not interested in trying to "fix" it at this point)

Re: can someone run quikload

I simply have no real application for it, as I only load for about 5 different cartridges. It would just be a "what if" type of tool to run a few scenarios with.

Working up a load the old fashion way is just fine for me, but if the price were down, I would still buy it just to have it. When I'm in uncharted territory, it takes me just a few minutes on google to yield enough answers to make an educated guess.

It doesn't cost me $150 either.
