Can We Beat a Snowflake instead?

Wow, it just gets more and more ridiculous every single day. How about a new saying - punch a PETA member in the crotch. It could mean being proactive in your daily life, like bull by the horns.

"Here’s how to remove speciesism from your daily conversations. "

Who in hell even said that I wanted to, to begin with? And in what universe can any true human even think that this is an issue. As long as my steaks are cooked medium-rare, my eggs are basted, and my bacon's crispy.... I don't care how long you deep-fry the koala's.

I'm for SOME of the things they do, but damn, they just take it to the nth degree and run off so many people that would otherwise be for helping animals in some of the cases they mention, like puppy mills, illegal importation of endangered species, over fishing, animal testing and other large scale abuse cases. I'm against all that shit. But I'm also against PETA.

This world is just fucked up. It's overpopulated a few times over. We don't know the impacts of the internet yet, but I can tell you that information isn't knowledge, knowledge isn't wisdom, and wisdom isn't foresight. But it seems today people take crappy biased internet information and extrapolate that into foresight. That alone is a huge problem. And so many do it, some of you do it and don't even know it, hell, I probably do to. It's also part of the problem.

And everyone who is offended is starting some group online to voice their discontent and force change upon others, usually containing in part or whole a new way of speaking, addressing people or describing things. Usually uneducated kids who think they are particularly intelligent yet resort to emotional pleas to make their argument. And they want everyone born before the internet to listen up! And do as it's told.

But me? I'm just filing it under #mypussyhurtstoo.

PETA is a terrorist organization and should be been labelled as such a long time ago.

I am torn on animal testing for a few reasons. I am against animal testing on non-critical things, like cosmetics, but pharmaceuticals is a different story. Many industries that use to do animal testing are moving to new, non-animal techniques.

The "some" things they do is just cover for their true intent.
Kinda like "prenatal care" being the main thing PP does.

“My dog is my friend, you are my sandwich maker”!

I knew a guy once that had it out with his girlfriend. His comment to her was, “I have two females in my life. One is a bitch, and the other is my dog.” He says that’s the last time they talked.

Now if that’s not putting animals before people, I mean PETA is probably ok with that. Don’t you think?

PETA is one of the biggest killers of "pets" that there is.
Their "Animal Shelters" have an unsurpassed kill rate (nearly all of them).
They don't actually want Animal welfare, they are happy for domesticated animals to all be killed or go extinct.
They just want to control your life & make sure you don't get to enjoy animals. Even if it means killing all the animals so you can't.

“People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals”

Hey, that makes them one of us, right? We all here treat our dogs pretty darn good. When we kill, we try our best to kill quickly and cleanly. Then say a little prayer of thanks or spiritual acknowledgment for the life sacrificed by the animal so that we can live.

I’m sure they would give us the same... given the chance... Right?!

Damnation, lol. I agree with you FS1. What a bunch of dick twisters. Every day I'm blown away at the horseshit people come up with. These people have way too much time and comfort on their hands to sit around and dream up shit like this.

I think these people need a little more pain in their life. I wonder if they have ever been truly hungry? I wonder if they've ever even considered what they would do without a whole foods around the corner? These psychos have had it way too good for way too long.

Maybe if they spent a couple days truly hungry then they could tell me what those PC sayings are really worth? Not worth a tinker's fuck. Push comes to shove, these fat, lazy, self indulgent fools ever lose their constant stream of convenient food, theyll drop that PETA shit like a bad habit and would eat the ass out of every single animal mentioned above if they could get it.

All these idiots are the product of too much comfort and not enough pain. When the chips are down, they'll eat each other.

I had a friend that called his wife his mule. Right in front of her too. To him it was an endearing term. She did not seem to mind. I wonder if PETA would have approved? :)

Ill agree with one thing they said...... "Words matter"

Male, Female, Patriot, Communist, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED, Constitutional Republic, Im sure there are others.

If they have to murder a thousand (or ten thousand or a hundred thousand) mice, dogs, apes, whatever to create a cure for a sick child I'd recommend doubling it just to make sure.

I am a conservationist, and believe we have a responsibility to be good stewards of our world, but when I put a child on one side of the scale you can keep adding animals because they weigh less than a feather next to the child, period!

I used to show dogs back in The Day and PETA folks would always show up and give you grief about exploiting the dogs. At one show they broke into dog crates and peoples cars and "set them free" a couple of which ran onto a nearby highway and were killed. When I heard about that I returned to my vehicle (I had shown one dog and returned to the vehicle, opened all the door and windows and crated him to show another) and when I returned to check on him found a couple of suspicious types lurking around.

When asked what they were doing they got indignant and defensive (intimidated) and I told them to be careful being strangers at the Dog Show because of what had happened - I told them that they didn't want to be confused or mis identified as being part of the PETA bunch because their health might suffer. One got mouthy and told me that assaulting someone who was turning dogs loose would land me in jail. My position was this: These animals are members of my family...they sleep in my bed and lie on my couch. I hand make all their food and they are wonderful friends and family members. If someone were to threaten their lives by turning them loose to be killed on the highway I would likely be despondent to the point of avenging their deaths as if someone had murdered a member of my family. Like setting a child free to be run over by a car on the highway.

I was told I'd go to jail. I said "That's true but the damage to the perp will still be permanent if I catch them."

That was the end of their presence. They found somewhere else to be.

Somewhere I still hve a PETA T-Shirt - P.E.T.A. People for the Eating of Tasty Animals.
