You've been had. It was well worth eating a little crow just to show you all what hypocrites so many of you are. For a whole week, you got strung along.
I knew the string was wearing thin when Bender pointed out that there were so many flip flops taking place. That was a little hint that for some of you, it didn't matter what I said, or what contradictions I made, your were still firmly hooked and running with the line. I am just flatly amazed at how seriously you all took yourselves, and how self righteous you could get in the process.
That's quite right, Frank; you aren't here to save any of us all from ourselves, and I went ahead anyway and proved to us all that you don't need to be, either. I think I still landed on my feet just fine with or without anybody's help.
And somewhere in all of this I left the gate wide open for all of us to prove to one and all just what kind of character we have when it comes time for it to come out and play in the light of day.

Wife and I were chatting last night......I came up with the saying that "these aren't the Jethro's you are looking for".....seems appropriate. Not sure for what. We got pretty hammered, but thought that may be a "one time, fits all" kind of statement.
Seems I missed out on all this over the weekend, got a bit distracted by my father losing the battle. Reading this tonight has lifted my feelings a bit. Keep up the good work guys.
Condolences Barn, very sorry to hear that. Lost my Mom in 1990. Very tough to deal with, Time is about the only thing that helps.

So sorry for your loss Brother. I know even when we see the inevitable loss of family coming, it still doesn't make it any easier. For me, knowing my parents and step parents are now at peace is about the only thing that gives solace. My absolute best to you and your's during this difficult time. Celebrate his life and know he's still with you.

Sorry to hear this Sir, we'll be praying for y'all. Thanks again for helping me out in giving my father a meaningful birthday last fall, after his heart deteriorated. He's fine now, and i wish the same for you.
