Thanks the rifle is a 300 ultra built on a surgeon 1086 with a 1 in 10 brux barrel with a .330 neck, wyatts bottom metal, shilen trigger, B&C a5 stock, shmidt and bend 3-20x50 on a larue qd mount.

Good looking critter. Hope to get one of my own some day.
If I were you, I would ask around for people that have shot these before, or go to a Cabelas or something, and measure the base and measure the length. Use the 2 numbers to get a ratio to the numbers. I will bet there is a prety consistant factor in relation to the 2 lengths. Then just convert your base to length using that ratio.
Is there any cool story behind you taking this guy with the jacked up horns?

The females usually have longer horns, smaller diameter but longer. Where is this, NM maybe?

The rings are already creeping on the last section of the right horn, meaning they are already tapering to the smoother section. If the bull was in it's home habitat here in Africa, the horns would in all likelihood not exceed 36", probably more like 33 to 35". Fine looking bases though, well done.
