Can you push 77 SMK too fast?

I do not think it is possible in practice.
I did get interested too and searched a bit.

Often the fastest velocity isn't the most consistent/accurate.

Something to remember with bullets is generally the faster you push them, the faster they slow down (drag force is proportional to velocity), so there tends to be an optimal velocity for each bullet. Also, the faster a bullet leaves the barrel, the higher its angular momentum and while jacketed bullets can handle some pretty faster RPMs there is a point where you can get them spinning too fast and jacket comes apart.
