Has anyone heard why is it so hard to find any lapua 6.5x47 brass. I talked to about every reloading place online and they said they won't have it in the US till the end of april, are they just that slow at production? Can a person use 243 brass some how or anything else,or is this a dumb question, i have never tried it just curious if it would work.

6.5x47L uses a Small Rifle Primer. All your other .308 family based cartridges use Large Rifle Primers.

i would like to get a hundred more, a buddy of mine just is finishing up his 6x47 build and is looking to buy some brass and he can't find any he probably wants probably 200.

I order some from Bruno's on the 27th they showed them being instock an hour later the website said they were out so I called yesterday and was told they didn't have any. After 10+ calls to different suppliers I called Creedmoor Sports and got the last box they had. Only other place that shows them instock is Cabela's @ $135.00 a box. Here's the Link.
